I’ve spent my career juggling multiple hats, which has transformed me into a highly motivated and creative problem-solver. My diverse experiences have sharpened my ability to lead multiple teams through complex projects, all while keeping my cool.
When it comes to PHP, I’m not just familiar with it – I’ve got over 15 years of experience under my belt with ZEND and CakePHP. But that’s not all, my skill set also includes OOP programming, various JavaScript frameworks like Angular and React, and even some experience with Node.js for managing micro-services.
CSS and SCSS are also part of my toolkit, having worked with them for about 15 years. I also have a pretty good handle on Adobe products and Figma. Pair these skills with my understanding of SEO and UI/UX, and it’s fair to say I’ve got the whole package.
I’ve done my time in Scrum/Agile environments and am no stranger to tools like Kanban, Jira, Trello, and Gitflow. Oh, and did I mention my experience with AWS and DevOps? Yep, I can design, build, and maintain infrastructure too.
One of my most rewarding ventures has been founding META Consultancy Ltd. where I got to flex my developer muscles and provide a valuable service. I’ve also freelanced for sites like Motocrossadvice.com and Marcadores.net, where I’ve been responsible for everything from SEO and content management to full website cycles.
I’ve got a strong track record as a leader, whether that’s as a Team Lead at companies like Kwiff Ltd. and Guts Trading Ltd., or as a Development Manager at Betsson Group. Not to mention, my communication skills and knack for cost-aware analysis have always come in handy, whether I’m teaching, consulting, or leading a project.
On the education front, I’ve got a CIW Foundations Certificate with Web Development Training, a CELTA certificate, and a Master’s in Computer Integrated Manufacturing from the University of Strathclyde. Plus, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Systems from Napier University. When I combine all this knowledge with my on-the-ground experience, I’m confident that I can bring a lot of value to any team or project.
